Pocket Migration FAQ
Did Pocket actually shut down?
Yes. Mozilla shut down Pocket on July 8, 2025, and deleted all user data on November 12, 2025. The standalone Pocket app and web service no longer exist.
How do I import my old Pocket bookmarks?
If you exported your Pocket data before the November 2025 deletion deadline, upload the HTML file to bookmark.land’s import page — we preserve your tags automatically. If you didn’t export in time, check your browser bookmarks or email for any Pocket links you saved elsewhere.
Will bookmark.land import my Pocket tags?
Yes. Our importer reads the tags embedded in Pocket’s HTML export and creates matching tags in your bookmark.land library. You can rename or color-code them after import.
What if I have more than 100 bookmarks?
The free Explorer plan holds up to 100 bookmarks and includes shareable collections. If your Pocket library is larger, Pro is $2.99/month (or $29.99/year) and supports up to 50,000 bookmarks with smart folders and link monitoring.
